Ares + Co is committed to sustainability and transparency. We work with Greenstory to measure the performance of our clothing line and offset our carbon emissions. That means we are accountable for every step of our design, manufacturing, and shipping process to ensure and support investments in projects that offset our environmental footprint. Ares + Co supports a number of projects, including:
Giving back to the community through the NICU
Any parent who has had a child spend time in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) knows how scary it is and how helpless you can feel. While the medical professionals work around the clock to help the babies, Ares + Co wants to help the parents. Through our donation program, we strive to ensure that every parent has size-appropriate clothing, hats, and swaddles for their little ones. For each order, Ares +Co will donate an item to a local NICU, which is sent over twice per year. Items include preemie-sized knot hats and swaddles so that all parents (including mothers of a stillborn) can bundle their babies.
We've got your back with our buy-back program
Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our Buy-Back Program. This initiative not only reduces waste, but also makes our high-quality clothing accessible to parents with a lower budget. As mothers, we know how quickly babies outgrow their clothing, with the average child going through six different sizes in their first two years! That’s why we will buy back items that are in good condition (no rips, stains, odors) in exchange for store credit. These preloved items will then be sold online at a discounted price.
